      The local parish of Canhas, located in the municipality of Ponta do Sol, promotes the 7th edition of the Sugar Cane Show, an event held at the Canhas Farmers Market, which offers both locals and tourists a programm with of lots of music and entertainment, and an exhibition regarding the sugar cane molasses production process.Saturday morning,  provides moments filled with much adrenaline, allowing all those who attend this event the opportunity to take part in the sugar cane’s harvesting.
